Get ready for the Helmholtz AI Conference 2025 – our annual event for AI in science and research across the Helmholtz Association and beyond!
Following the incredible success of last year’s conference, we’re thrilled to announce that the Helmholtz AI Conference 2025 will be held from June 3 - 5, 2025 at Messe Karlsruhe. Once again we’re bringing together some of the leading minds in the field to explore the latest advancements in AI and their transformative potential across diverse scientific domains.
With the rapid evolution of AI and ML, the possibilities for accelerating discoveries and solving complex challenges are endless. At this conference, attendees will have the opportunity to engage with experts, share insights, and participate in stimulating discussions that push the boundaries of AI’s role in research.
Registration to the conference will begin in February.

Once the Prologue Day wraps up, the excitement continues at the Helmholtz AI Conference itself. This year, we’re bringing back all your favorite social events, carefully designed to foster connections, collaboration, and fun.
- AI World Café: Join us for a structured yet dynamic setting, where participants can engage in deep, collaborative conversations on a variety of pre-determined topics.
- Project Matchmaking: For the second time, we’ll be hosting a Project Matchmaking session, offering a unique platform for finding collaborators for your AI projects.
- Conference dinner: The evening of Day 2 culminates in an official dinner - the perfect opportunity for informal networking in a relaxed atmosphere.

Childcare
We are excited to bring back our childcare services for this year’s conference, following the success of last year’s offering. The service will be available daily from 8:45 AM to 6:00 PM, providing a convenient and supportive environment for parents attending the event. We’re committed to making the conference accessible to all, and hope this service enhances your experience once again.
